In order to solve the mean, median, range, and mode you need a group of numbers. For example:

63,69,72,81,64

To solve the mean:
1. Add the numbers together: 63+69+72+81+64=354
2. Divide by the amount of numbers that were added: In this case which were five.
3. 354/5=
70.8 which is your mean

To solve the median:
1. Lay the numbers out in order from least to greatest: 63,64,69,72,81
2. The number in the middle is the median.
Note: If there is an even amount of numbers, find the middle two and average them. For example:
2,4,6,7,9,10 the middle two are 6 and 7 so add them which is 13 divided by 2 which is 6.5 which is your answer.

To solve the range:
1. Subtract the smallest number from the largest number
81-63=
18 which is the answer.

To solve the
mode:
1. Find the number in the group that is repeated. If there are no numbers that are repeated just write
no mode. But if there is for example:
1,6,9,3,6,7,3 the mode is 3, and 6

This is an audio explaining how to solve each of these problems
